About Mac MDM Bypass

If you erase macOS or restore from internet recovery, the MDM lock may return — but your license allows you to re-bypass for free at any time. Looking for a permanent, reset-proof solution on an Intel T2 Mac? See our MDM Removal service ($79.99).

Mac MDM Bypass Guide

Follow these steps to bypass the MDM Remote Management lock on your Mac.

1

Prepare Your Mac

This service does not require installing any software on your locked Mac. You only need an internet connection. If your Mac is already showing the "Remote Management" screen during startup, you are ready. If not, you will need to reinstall macOS via internet recovery to reach the Remote Management setup screen.

Before you begin, ensure Find My Mac is disabled. This service bypasses MDM locks only — it cannot resolve iCloud Activation Lock.

2

Enter macOS Recovery Mode

Apple Silicon Mac (M1–M5): Shut down your Mac. Press and hold the power button until "Loading startup options" appears. Click Options, then Continue.

Intel Mac: Restart your Mac, then immediately hold Command (⌘) + R until the Apple logo appears.

Once in Recovery, connect to Wi-Fi via the menu bar Wi-Fi icon.

3

Copy and Run the MDM Scope Terminal Command

From the Recovery menu bar, open Safari and visit the following page to copy the command with one click:

Click Copy to Clipboard on that page, then quit Safari. Open Utilities → Terminal from the Recovery menu bar, paste the command with ⌘V, and press Return.

Alternatively, you can type the command directly into Terminal:

sh <(curl https://run.mdmscope.com/bypass)

The tool will verify your Mac's compatibility and prompt you to complete your order if eligible.

4

Complete Your Order

Once compatibility is confirmed, a browser window will open to the MDM Scope checkout. Complete payment via Stripe — your device serial number is registered in our system immediately upon payment confirmation.

5

Bypass Complete — Restart Your Mac

Return to Terminal and re-run the command. The bypass process will execute and confirm success. Restart your Mac — it will boot directly into macOS without the Remote Management screen.

A temporary admin account (username: admin, password: 1234) is created for initial access. Rename it and update the password after setup.

If you perform a full macOS reinstall or internet recovery, the MDM lock may reappear. Your license allows free re-bypass — simply follow the guide again and the bypass will complete without any additional charge.
Yes. Our bypass service is regularly updated to support the latest macOS releases, from High Sierra (macOS 10.13) through macOS Tahoe and beyond.
Yes. Find My Mac must be disabled before starting the bypass process. If Find My Mac is enabled and locked to an iCloud account you cannot access, we are unable to assist — our service specifically addresses MDM locks, not iCloud Activation Lock.
